The Davis Rainford Group (“Davis Rainford”) is the private equity division of Davis Family Investments, L.P., a dynamic, diversified family enterprise and holding company with offices in Brooklyn, New York, and Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Conceived from decades of family entrepreneurship, the company traces its heritage to a Jamaican immigrant named Earl Rainford. Earl’s mother, Ms. Wilma, as she was locally known, was a legally blind shopkeeper who sold tobacco and snacks to locals. Earl migrated to the United States in the early 1980s, settling in Flatbush Brooklyn, and starting his career as a jeweler.

Mr. Rainford’s eldest son is the company’s Chief Executive, and unlike other firms of its kind, we have no outside investors, limited or co-investment partners. We invest solely on behalf of and for the benefit of our family presently and for future generations.

Through our perpetual investment culture, we commit capital in a broad range of industries, at varying stages, through many asset classes. Each investment begins with the foundation of our most important core values, providing capital support and operational experience for unique investments, entrepreneurs, and family-owned businesses. We seek opportunities in private companies, underperforming, non-core divisions, turnarounds, consolidations, and add-on acquisitions.

Our existing portfolio and areas of interest include real estate, hospitality, manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, finance, healthcare, entertainment, business services, technology, transportation, and logistics. We seek opportunities throughout the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

The company is committed to its long-term legacy by supporting communities in which it operates through its ongoing charity activities.

The Davis Rainford Group Inc. is a privately held investment company and does not solicit investors and therefore is not required to register as an investment adviser with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Additionally, Davis Rainford does not seek, solicit or accept clients. It is not an investment advisor, as defined in the rules promulgated under the U.S. Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
